A local leading organization is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Fond du Lac. This position will last three months and could be longer. It is for 25 hours a week, the hours are Monday:Friday 1:30pm:6:30pm.

Responsibilities for a Maintenance Assistant include but are not limited to:
EURMaintains building interior by cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming during normal working hours; resupplying restrooms; replacing light bulbs.
EURMaintains building and grounds appearance and accessibility by removing ice, snow and debris from sidewalks; maintaining landscaping; cleaning outside equipment.
EURAssists completion of equipment and building repairs by following maintenance procedures; performing minor and routine painting, and other related maintenance, including minor preventative maintenance on equipment.
EURReports maintenance observations by notifying maintenance supervisor concerning need for major repairs and/or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
EURCompletes special deliveries and pick:ups by responding to requests; accepting, unloading and storing received materials.
EURMaintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; assists recordkeeping needs.
EURMaintains maintenance records by documenting inspections, tests, and repairs on tools and equipment.
EURDelivers paper stock to copier, printer, and fax machine locations throughout the building.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
EURHigh School diploma or equivalent.
EURAbility to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills.
EUR1+ years of previous basic maintenance experience.
EURAbility to perform basic computer skills.
EURAbility to recognize safety issues.
EURValid driverEUR(TM)s license and satisfactory driving record (based on Society Insurance guidelines).

Pay for this position is 9.50/hr.
